Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Chanting

The actual schedule for the Mysore classes and the Pranayama class can be found here (please note that you can start your practice within a window of time).

Once per month, I also offer led classes in Ashtanga Yoga (prior experience required, firm starting time) and on Sunday mornings meditation and chanting classes (suitable also for beginners). A few times per year, I offer introductory weekends on Pranayama (open for everybody) and refresher courses for Pranayama (prior knowledge required).

Welcome to my website.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, a dynamic yoga style, is my primary focus. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga consists of a fixed sequence of postures (asana). Upon regular practice, already after a short period Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga increases strength, flexibility, endurance and balance.

Even as a total beginner, you can start practicing at any time in one of the so-called Mysore classes, where each student is taught and supported individually. Alternatively, you may opt for taking private one on one classes.

I would like to draw the attention of already established Ashtangis to the yearly Ashtanga Yoga Intensive with Greg Nardi (USA), in 2019 from September 19th until 22nd. The exact programme can be found here.

As a Plus, I offer additional approaches to further personal growth towards more inner freedom, vitality and joy. These are pranayama, meditation, energy work, family constellation work and coaching. Due to the nature of the Mysore classes, you can start the classes at anytime (with the exception of the led classes). I would be grateful for prior notice, though, by phone or by mail. One trial class is 12 €, the 3 trial classes are 30 € and 4 weeks unlimited participation in the Mysore classes cost 50 €.

Deviations from the usual schedule
There will be no classes from May 22nd until 26th. Self practice in the shala is possible upon pre-registration during these times.

The classes on May 30th take place as follows: 7 - 7.40 a.m. meditation, 7.45 - 10 a.m. Mysore class (latest start at 9 a.m., please finish by 10.30 a.m.). There will be no class in the evening. Self practice in the shala is possible upon pre-registration during these times.

The next led classes will take place on Thursday, June 6th, at 6.15 p.m. and on Friday, June 7th, at 9 a.m.. Please preregister until the morning of the day before (in case of less than 2 registrations, there will be a class in Mysore style instead). Participants should know the standing sequence. The following led classes will take place on August 8th in the evening and 9th in the morning.

The classes on June 10th (Pentecoast Monday) and 20th (Corpus Christi) will take place as follows: 7 - 7.40 a.m. meditation, 7.45 - 10 a.m. Mysore class (latest start at 9 a.m., please finish by 10.30 a.m.). There will be no class in the evening. Self practice in the shala will be possible upon pre-registration during these times.

Pranayama
The Pranayama classes take place each Tuesday from 5.30 to 6 p.m. (only upon prior registration, not suitable for beginners).

The next Pranayama refresher is scheduled for August 18th from 10.45 until 12.15 a.m. (only upon prior registration, not suitable for beginners).

The next weekend workshop for Pranayama will take place from November 22nd to 24th.

Constellation work
The constellation work is usually done in German.

The next evening of constellation work will take place on June 7th, from 6.30 p.m. until about 10 p.m..

The next afternoon dedicated to Chakra constellation work will take place on October 19th from 2.30 p.m. until about 6 p.m..
