About my person

My name is Matthias Schmidt, born in 1959, married, father of one daughter and grandfather of two grandchildren.

I completed my studies (master in physics and M.D. Ph.D. in medicine) at the Goethe university in Frankfurt am Main.  I then worked for 16 years, until 2001, for Fresenius, a company in the health care sector. For a short time thereafter, I worked as a business coach and consultant.

I started to accompany people on their personal journeys in 2003, initially primarily through energy work, family constellation work and coaching.

I supplemented these methods with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in 2010. For details concerning my yoga path to date, please click here.

My slogan:

Life is movement (in German: Das Leben ist Bewegung).

A special thanks to all my teachers, to my co-students and to all those, who have allowed me to accompany their personal journeys. My special gratitude goes out to my family, for their love and their support.

News

You can find the schedule here. And directions here.

Due to the nature of the Mysore classes, you can start the classes at anytime (with the exception of the led classes). I would be grateful for prior notice, though, by phone or by mail. One trial class is 12 €, the 3 trial classes are 30 € and 4 weeks unlimited participation in the Mysore classes cost 50 €.
